Prior to law school, Elliot worked in law enforcement. Elliot has been involved in nearly every realm of law enforcement—including employment with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Elliot’s time as a law enforcement officer allowed him to gain significant experience in the criminal justice system. As an Agent with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Elliot presented hundreds of cases before grand juries and worked complex investigations—including undercover operations, electronic wire intercepts (wiretaps), and organized crime. Elliot’s assignment as a Task Force Officer with the FBI gave him significant experience in federal investigations. While at the FBI, Elliot conducted investigations including civil rights violations, white collar crime, and public corruption investigations.

Elliot also worked as a criminal investigator at the District Attorney’s Office for the 19th Judicial District covering Greene, George, and Jackson counties. This experience gave Elliot valuable insight into how prosecutors prepare cases from initial investigation through trial.

Before opening this firm, Elliot worked as an Assistant District Attorney in South Mississippi. During this time, he prosecuted hundreds of felony criminal cases. Elliot, as a prosecutor, worked on cases from beginning to end and gained tremendous insight on how the justice system functions.

Elliot's experience and ability allow him to provide quality representation to his clients and to consistently obtain good results for his clients.
